The Last Straw Campaign
The Last Straw Campaign
I was commissioned by McDonald's Canada to create an illustration that expresses my own perspective on sustainability. I chose to illustrate a landscape that was inspired by Spirit Island at Maligne Lake here in Alberta.
The illustration was printed on upcycled McDonald's trays made from some remaining plastic straws following their transition to paper straws. The trays won't be used in their restaurants, but instead they will be donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities across Canada so they can be enjoyed by volunteers and families.
The artwork being exhibited at McDonald's Canada's The Gallery of Little Big Things
